This 1967 Volkswagen Bus is a Deluxe Samba seven-seater that was refurbished under previous ownership before the current owner acquired it in 2015.
Refinished in red over gray, the bus is powered by a modified flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle.
Equipment includes dual EMPI carburetors, a stainless-steel exhaust, a 12-volt ignition coil and alternator, safari front glass, roof windows, a roof rack, a fabric sunroof, pass-through front bucket seats, rear bench seats, VDO instrumentation, a clock, an Alpine stereo, and 15? wheels with chrome hubcaps.
This 21-window Microbus is now offered on dealer consignment with a VW Classic Parts certificate and a California title.
The bus was delivered new in Tizian Red and Beige Grey (L555/L472), and under previous ownership it was refinished.
Features include a roof rack, a white fabric sunroof, eight rooftop windows, a split safari windshield, and a passenger-side running board.
Two-tone 15? steel wheels wear VW-stamped hubcaps and are mounted with 165-series whitewall tires.
The front axle is equipped with disc brakes.
The interior features pass-through front bucket seats, a narrow middle row, and a full rear bench, all of which are trimmed in gray fabric with tan vinyl backings.
An Alpine stereo with Bluetooth connectivity is mounted in the center of the dash, and a clock is located on the passenger side.
A two-spoke steering wheel with a golden lady crest sits ahead of a VDO 80-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge to the left.
The five-digit odometer shows approximately 900 miles, less than 100 of which have been added by the current owner.
True mileage is unknown.
The replacement flat-four is said to have been built to high compression with modified components.
The engine was installed under previous ownership and is equipped with dual EMPI carburetors, a stainless-steel exhaust, and an electric fuel pump as well as a Bosch 12-volt ignition coil and 12-volt alternator.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.
The underbody has been refinished, and additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
A Volkswagen Classic Parts certificate is provided in the gallery and lists the build date as well as the factory color scheme and equipment.
The California title is noted to be a Duplicate.
