This 1965 Ford Mustang is a K-code fastback that was special-ordered new via North Brothers G.
C.
of Garden City, Michigan by Thomas Land, the senior designer at Ford responsible for the fastback body style.
The car received a special gray paint color, a unique grille, Fairlane door handles for the black interior, and finned Cobra valve covers from the factory.
The 289ci V8 is paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and other equipment includes 15? wheels, multi-piston front brake calipers, a folding rear seat, a center console, Rally-Pac gauges, and an AM radio.
Service has included brake work, rebuilding the carburetor, a valve adjustment, a tune-up, and replacing the fuel tank, alternator, and battery.
The current owner acquired the car in 2016.
This Mustang is now offered on dealer consignment with a letter from Land, an owner's manual, and a salvaged California title.
