This 1967 Chevrolet El Camino has been modified in the style of an SS 396, with changes including 15? Rally wheels, updated badging, and the installation of a 396ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a Moser Engineering differential.
The truck is finished in red over black vinyl, and equipment includes chrome bumpers, a black bed liner, and air conditioning.
The current owner acquired the truck in December 2020, reportedly following ownership history in Texas, and recent service is said to include replacing the spark plugs and front brakes.
This El Camino is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean California title in the owner's name.
The El Camino received a facelift for the 1967 model year, and this example was originally finished in Capri Cream (TT).
It has been refinished in red and fitted with a vented hood, a black bed liner, and chrome bumpers, mirrors, and trim.
Super Sport-style badging has been added, including grille text and 396 Turbo Jet fender emblems.
Polished 15? Rally wheels are mounted with 215/70 front and 235/70 rear BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial redline tires.
The truck features front disc brakes that were reportedly installed recently.
The cabin features a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl as well as matching door panels, carpets, and embroidered floor mats.
Equipment includes air conditioning, a Delco push-button radio, a Hurst shifter, and a center armrest with twin cupholders.
Super Sport badging has been added to the dashboard, and the radio does not work.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a linear 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges.
The five-digit odometer shows 69k miles, approximately 150 of which were added by the current owner.
Total mileage is unknown.
The 396ci V8 has been installed in place of the factory engine and features replacement Holley four-barrel carburetors, an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, and a polished air filter assembly.
Recent service reportedly includes an oil change, fluids services, and replacing the spark plugs.
Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Moser Engineering differential.
Decoding the Fisher body tag reveals the following information:
