This 1964 Volkswagen Type 2 was purchased by its current owner in 2005, around which time the vehicle underwent a 16-month overhaul at ISP West of Carson, California.
The bus was refinished in two-tone white and blue, the gray interior was redone, a 1.
6-liter flat-four was installed, and the four-speed manual gearbox was rebuilt.
Features include eight roof windows, a sunroof, a Westfalia roof rack, seating for nine, and a 12-volt electrical system.
Approximately 6k miles have been added by the owner since completion of the project, and Volkswagen AG exhibited the vehicle during Monterey Car Week in 2017.
This 21-window Microbus is now offered on dealership consignment with service records from current ownership, build photos, appraisal paperwork, and a clean California title.
The van is said to have been refinished in 2005 by ISP West using PPG Blue White (L289) over Sea Blue (L3360) with Silver White (L85) bumpers and wheels.
Features include eight roof windows, a vinyl sunroof, and a Westfalia roof rack.
The paintwork and exterior trim are shown up close in the photo gallery below, including a crack in the paint on the passenger-side rear quarter panel noted by the selling dealer and touch-up work on the front bumper.
White 14? steel wheels utilize chrome-finished VW hubcaps and VW-logo valve-stem caps.
They are mounted with 185/75 Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWP II tires.
The front end and the suspension were rebuilt during the refurbishment.
The interior was redone by ISP West with gray vinyl and patterned gray cloth inserts.
Stainless-steel trim was utilized on the matching door panels, and the seller states that an ivory-colored mohair cloth headliner and German-sourced carpeting were also fitted.
A two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of an 80-mph VDO speedometer, and an analog clock is integrated into the passenger side of the steel dashboard.
The five-digit odometer shows approximately 54k miles, nearly 6k of which have been added by the current owner since 2005.
Right-hand cargo doors open to expose two additional rows of seating.
Rubber liners protect the floors front and rear.
The 1.
6-liter flat-four is said to feature a replacement aluminum case that was fitted with new components in 2005, and the four-speed manual transaxle was also rebuilt at that time.
The electrical system has been converted to 12 volts.

The oil was changed and the fuel hoses were replaced in January 2021.
Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below, and the exhaust system shows corrosion.
