HR Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSEResponsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Provides leadership and establishes and implements human resources strategy to go along with overall business plans and objectives under the general direction of the Director of Human Resources & Benefits.
Manages the recruiting, selection and hiring activities of Dole Fresh Vegetables workforce.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION Briefs new managers on the policies and procedures of an organization in conjunction with development and learning team, providing coaching to managers on difficult and complex issues.
Reviews and revises HR policies in compliance with changing or new legislation.
To detect and handle complaints, disputes and grievances of all staffs and to report them to the Regional Human Resources Director Lead organizational assessments to diagnose critical workforce issues and recommend/execute organizational development solutions Analyze business needs and actual performance, identify performance gaps, and determine root causes (including skill and knowledge deficiencies).
Conduct organizational analysis as necessary.
Participate in biannual Performance Development Program (PDP) for salaried employees.
Adheres to all federal, state and local regulations governing the employment process; keeps applicant files in good order for applicant tracking purposes.
Raising proactive issues with managers, identifying practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issues, and recommending appropriate action plans.

Receiving employee complaints and acting accordingly to resolve them.
Design and own the hiring/recruiting process.
Manage temp process Organizes and conducts employee testing and recruitment programs.
Identify sources of candidates, initiate and maintain relationships with outside sources (e.
g.
, employment agencies, recruiters, colleges, and job fair sponsors) Organizes and conducts employee testing and recruitment programs.
Prepares and places employment advertising in appropriate venues Reviews and evaluates applicant's work history, education, training and other qualifications.
Notifies applicants of consideration or rejection; interviews those selected that meet organization's qualifications.
Gathers all necessary data to prepare job offers for approval.
Manages recruitment expenses to stay within budgetary guidelines.
Develop and maintain relationships with temporary and other employment agencies Coordinates efforts with DFV HR functions and Corporate HR.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
