Job DescriptionAs a representative of H&R Block, the role of a tax expert is very diverse, but here are a number of functions often performed for their clients:
Prepare tax returns for high net worth individuals.
A portion of these individuals will also require tax preparation for their partnerships, trust, or small business tax returns.
Consulting clients and tax planning work year around.
Conduct tax interviews, complete returns and accounting services for individual and small business.
Responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports for individuals and companies.
Financial statement presentation in tax and other acceptable accounting alternatives.
Oversee bookkeeping services - OCTBOA Recommend fiscally advantageous methods to save money.
Audit accounts for errors, misinformation, fraud, and overspending.

Act as a consultant in areas such as compensation, benefits, and asset protection.
Ensuring client confidentiality and privacy Increasing retention of all clients Offering additional products and services IRS audit support & attendance Providing mentoring and supporting teammates Minimum
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field Skills and
Experience:
5
years of experience preparing taxes for high net worth individuals, partnerships, trusts and small business corporate returns.
Expertise in tax consultation, planning and strategies Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in person.
Works well independently with limited direction Preferred Qualifications Active CPA License.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
