Director of Catering
The Director of Catering Sales is a key sales position, responsible for maintaining existing social and corporate catering accounts as well as actively soliciting new catering accounts for the property.
In addition, the position is responsible for being in charge of the Catering Department, understanding the market, competition and the opportunities, sales trends and client expectations.
Also we expect the individual to take active role in servicing the accounts, meeting and exceeding monthly and annual revenue goals.
Experience, Skills and Knowledge o5
years in Catering Sales and Convention Services required.
oMust possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Delphi.
Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills, as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required.
oExtensive knowledge of catering sales and convention services skills, revenue management, recruitment, supervision, training, and motivation of managers.
oKnowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, and long-range planning.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
