Exchange Student Coordinator

Cultural Homestay International is looking for people to work as Academic Coordinators (AC) for Foreign Exchange Students. Do you enjoy working with people? Learning about the world? This job could be for you!

ACs work with Foreign Exchange high school students from many countries who come to the U.S.A. to experience life with a volunteer host family, improve their English skills, make American friends and attend a local public high school for one or two semesters.

ACs bring the world to their community and learn about the world through working with the students, families and schools. Successful ACs enjoy working with teens and are highly responsible.

-Recruit volunteer host families in your community.
-Aid in the selection of a student for the host family.
-Act as a liaison to local high schools and assist in the enrollment of the students.
-Oversee students and families throughout the year with monthly phone contact and in person visits
-Remain in contact with CHI's Academic Program Administrator (APA)
-Participate in training seminars, orientations and parties.

SUPPLEMENTAL INCOME; Part-time work; flexible schedule; work mostly from home.
Most Academic Coordinators hold other jobs.
Must be outgoing, self-motivated, enjoy working with teens.
Experienced Coordinators welcome but experience not required.
Training and 24/7 support are provided.
Computer access is a must.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
