We are seeking a skilled and motivated Deckhand to join our team on our whale watching trips.
As a Deckhand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our vessel.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the maritime industry and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey - Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and painting the deck, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety measures are in place Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Deckhand or in a similar role is preferred but not required - Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for passengers - Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from superiors - Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions -Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random quarterly drug screens -Must be able to pass a federal background check (Must get a TWIC card within 14 days of hire) If you are passionate about working on the water and enjoy providing exceptional service to passengers, we encourage you to apply for the Deckhand position.
